Salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper
to taste
Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot and sauté until softened.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients to the pot, stirring to combine.
Bring the soup to a simmer, reduce the heat to low, and let cook for 20-25 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste, then serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with shredded cheese, sour cream, diced avocado, or crushed tortilla chips.
